Simon Velez started tattooing in 1999, in Columbia. He practiced different styles and techniques for about 9 years, before traveling to Brazil and meeting tattooers that were into the Americana Traditional style. That marked a huge change in his career, as he got more and more interested in the history of tattooing and the chance to completely overhaul his personal style and approach to the art. He traveled to several different countries before finally settling down in New York in 2011.

Simon has an intense focus in studying American and Japanese Traditional tattoos. A beautiful aesthetic and tools that can make every tattoo in any style he does bold, durable, and solid.
